Oregon community colleges provide related training for apprenticeship programs including Associate of Applied Science degrees. Apprenticeship related training courses and programs must follow the same approval processes as other community college courses and programs.

The Community College Apprenticeship Coordinators is an association of college staff responsible for managing the apprenticeship related training and services provided by a college. Many colleges have a person designated as an apprenticeship coordinator; they can be contacted for more information concerning apprenticeship related training and services available at that college.

The current CCWD Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) on apprenticeship can be found in OAR 589-007-0100 through 0180. Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 660 and OAR 839-011 provide further guidance concerning apprenticeships.
